Having started cooking professionally from her Battersea flat in 1984, it is Sophie who runs the show. If she’s not in the kitchen, magicking up a new delicious salad, you’ll find her chasing her son around Battersea Park!
Sophie’s trusty sidekick for nine years, Sarah is café manager and kitchen assistant. She can make 300 smoked salmon roses in half an hour and makes the best coffee in Battersea.
As chef, Connie works closely with Sophie to make sure every need is met in the food department. Connie is always trying to improve her coffee frothing technique in the café and can often be seen making her (nearly) famous chocolate brownies!
With not only an undergraduate in events but a masters too, Anna knows her stuff. As Sophie’s PA and Event Planner she jumps in and saves the day on a daily basis – whether it’s donning her chefs outfit to make a breakfast or organising last minute details for a party of 250 guests.
Having spent a year in New Zealand working in an organic vegan cafe, Abbie arrived at Edible in July this year. Organising events is her main game and she is often there to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day.
Bea is our resident Italian, looking after the café 2 days a week, she is our mediterranean ray of sunshine. On the other 3 days Bea is working hard to get a degree in Food Science and Nutrition.
